93 pounds down (55 pounds was gained during pregnancy, the rest was put on before then) Just a few more to go!

Did it! 144 this morning! Next goal is 140. Also have a pair of size 8 shorts from 7 years ago that I can't button yet.

Restless leg syndrome is gone! Didn't realize it until I went to a movie with a friend and wasn't moving around every 5 seconds. I'm not sure if it's from the weightloss or the fact that I'm working out 5 days a week consistently for the last 3 1/2 months.

Yes! I pray everyday for strength to get through my workout! Some of my best conversations with God are during my workouts! 93 pounds down. God definitely cares.

1st picture is at 190 in September last year, second is today at 144. SW:236 (pregnant) CW: 144 GW: 130 (will reevaluate when I get there)

Can you do strong curves with dumbells? I don't wanna buy the book if I can't do the workouts at home. Right now I'm doing lower body 3 days a week and upper body twice a week. Lots of squats, lunges, and deadlifts as heavy as I can lift for lower body. And fitnessblender videos for upper body. But I've kinda stalled the…

Woah. So just so you know this was the difference in the first two months of strength training. It just seems like this last month hasn't been a huge change. And I've definitely gotten stronger. My diet just hasn't been 100%. I can tell a difference in my abdomen because the more weight I lose the wrinklier it gets and now…

Edited my post for clarity. I think everyone was looking at the first picture which is actually from when I started my diet change and strength training. I was actually just wondering if there was a difference in the last month....I'm so bad at this

Are yall looking at the last 3 pictures or just the first picture lol? The first comparison is from may 6th to June 28th. The last 3 are from June 28th to today.

This!!! I love that thread.

Heavy lifting is directly determined by YOU. Right now I don't lift more than 10lbs per hand for any upper body workout. Lifting heavy means you have to push yourself to complete the last 3 reps or so of 8 reps. You should really, really have to push thru. So for most women that's going to be 5-10 pounds, starting out.…

It's a myth that women get bulky when they lift weights. You do not get bulky. You have to eat at a major surplus + have lottssss of testosterone in order for that to happen. Lift heavy. I promise you won't get bulky arms. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn just sitting around doing nothing. If you do not…

To get to 146....still. Been 148-150 for weeks. But my food hasn't been on point. Was 149 this morning. 3 pounds to go!!
-
Lift now! You won't regret it! I started lifting when I was still 40 pounds away from my goal weight. Still have at least 20 to go, but lifting saves your muscle and CHANGES your body. This is only like 15 lb difference in weight. And 2 months in between pictures.

Next goal is to get to my drivers license weight...146. (What I weighed at 16, I'm 25 now) 2 pounds to go!
-
Thanks everyone! It's very motivating when people can see the change!
-
Yes I started with the brutal butt & thigh 30 minute workout.

I posted my workouts a few comments above yours. Let me know if you need more explanation! ☺

Also, I recommend not wearing black Capris to take pics in lol. Here are some compared in shorts...

I haven't committed to going to the gym yet, so this is all done at home with dumbells. On Mondays, wednesdays, and Fridays I do lower body & hiit cardio. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I do upper body, abs, and hiit cardio. Lower body consists of ...stiffleg deadlifts, pulse squats, regular squats, sumo squats, lunges, calf…

Made it to 149 this morning!! Hallelujah!
-
Yes! I was exactly 150 Saturday, but was bad over the weekend. So hoping I will be 149 by Friday!

Now down 85 pounds, but more importantly now fit in a size 8 dress. Also, on week 8 of working out 5 days a week. Haven't missed a day yet. I do strength training plus HIIT Cardio and it usually takes me about 90 minutes a day. I've never even completed the 30 day shred, which is 26 minutes a day. So this is huge for me.

3779.7 + 83 = 3862.7

First pic is at 236 pounds, second pic is 157 pounds. 80 pounds lost in 15 months. First pic is from August 2015, so almost 10 months ago. I'm about 35 pounds down from that picture. Edited to say I'm not done! Want to lose about 20-30 more pounds. And I'm 5'1.

-Next mini goal is for a juniors 9 to fit well, they are pretty tight now but I can squeeze them on. -Get stronger. -Look GREAT for a beach trip in September, that we are taking with 3 other couples. Nothing will make you want to lose weight if going to the beach with people who are much smaller than you doesn't terrify…
-
How tall are you? One of my mini goals is a juniors size 9. It's pretty snug right now and I weight 156. Hopefully they'll fit right in 2 weeks.

Anyone else waiting to buy clothes? I haven't bought any since I was about 190, in a size 15. Now I'm 157 and in a tight 9/10 but I'm trying to put it off because I don't want to buy new jeans every month.
