  • I'm not sure if I got extra cardio or not in, since tonight is usually when my boyfriend and I hit the gym for strength and cardio workout. I compensated because I do this when I'm not feeling well. He mentioned he has a terrible headache and was having a bad day at work, so he wasn't sure if he would be able to work out…
  • Everyone kicked total azz. Love it. I'll be thinking of all of you when I stay on the path and keep on going in order to support this awesome team.
  • Sorry that I missed the mini challenge due to being ill for 5 of the 7 days. But, I'm ready to start it up again and will come back full force on the next mini challenge.
  • What sort of exercise do you all suggest when you're ill? A migraine, body ache and chills today, but I don't want to blow this burning 500 calorie challenge. Any suggestions?
  • Knowing that this was starting tonight, I was prepared rain or shine. And it did rain. So, kickboxing it was. *Whew* Hope you all found the time to kick some of your own tail tonight, for burning calories' sake!!
  • How many people have succeeded on here thanks to the friends you have?
  • This is a very smart idea. Smaller more achievable goals are the best way to keep the steady motivation and positive reinforcement going.
  • I love this attitude (the one mentioned where he had his wife join as well and they're both feeling happier and healthier); this is great and something that my boyfriend and I do, as well. It helps to have a supportive partner. I think pointing out that you're doing this to feel better about yourself and therefore will…
  • I have found some great ab workouts on Women's Health magazine; their website, that is. Serious planks plus planks and knee tucks. The oblique twist machine at my gym is brutal. Plus, there's this move called the dead bug. Look it up. Man, does that thing kill but totally work.
  • You look phenomenal and are a huge huge inspiration to all of us!!! Just wow. A hearty congrats and this makes me want to keep on going for sure. **doffs the cap**
  • I'm definitely in as I was unable to complete the last challenge due to being sick. Thanks for organizing this!!
  • Yes, I understand Google is a tool I can use. It was more about people within this community and what THEY think, but your sarcasm is duly notes. But, thank you so much for all of those who offered advice!! I am able to implement most of these things on a regular basis and have some recipes at the ready thanks to GOOGLE!…
  • Same here. I have to lose around 15 pounds or so, as well, to reach my goal. Add me if you wish and good luck on your goal!!
  • Okay, not so exciting a topic, I'd take it. Still looking for advice, though. :-)
  • We recently combined pineapple and cherry tomatoes on skewers and grilled those directly. Spray olive oil and sprinkle with a tiny bit of salt and pepper. Also, asparagus spears sprayed with olive oil (the pam olive oil spray works great and obviously you're using very little) and sprinkled with salt and pepper and a…
  • That's great! I bet seeing it in those specific numbers really keeps you going!
  • I don't understand it, either, especially when it really slows down your metabolism to the most sluggish pace possible. There are some days on the weekends where I find myself, after sleeping in, trying to play catch-up, calorie-wise, but to only eat so little would drive me crazy. Food and eating is so enjoyable; why…
  • I'm down for this and need extra motivation, anyway. Weight: 139
