Not sure about the less liquid. My hubs has worked with this and tried many different things--The texture is kind of nutty (if that is a texture) I have never found steel cut Oats to be mushy--it's just so yummy. Maybe decrease the cook time. This is a slight twist on Alton Browns Steel Cut Oats receipe.

I'm back... man was it a good walk! It was very hilly, and 60 min long--I caught a bit of the sun setting--and did a little intervaul (sp???) trainning. Ahhh it's a great day to be alive!

In the words of Queen Latiffa-- I just want to be a size healthy --at my smallest (size 3) and at my biggest (22ish) I was not a size healthy. I'm working towards that size healthy by being a size active and a portion smaller.
