  • For some people this may be true. Personally, I absolutely love pizza. I worked at pizza hut for a bit, had pizza and breadsticks for lunch every day, never got tired of it. To this day I'm still finding ways to incorporate pizza into my diet, lol. Just depends on how you feel about the food.
  • It has been a great week! So far 4 lbs down. But I'll wait til Monday morning to do the official weigh-in. I've been logging all my food and exercise. I use a heart monitor so I can keep track of calories burned as well. I'm really enjoying the cardio. I find that after the 10 minute stretch I have more energy for the rest…
  • I had HIIT 15 for day two as well. I'm using this calendar http://www.beachbody.com/text/tf_microsite/worksheets/print-tfclassschedule-worksheets.html
  • Yep, that helps. Thanks!
  • That first workout seemed to go on forever! Well, I did the first time around workout where it breaks it down for you. And on top of that I had my 5 year old son interrupting me and asking for different things at regular intervals. So it lasted well over an hour. As for the workout itself? It was HARD, but so much fun.

  • Where is it? Couldn't find it =(
  • I was just looking to start a thread like this. I'm starting tomorrow. Count me in!!!
  • yea, it's normal to feel them. when you start seeing your ribs, that's when you have a problem
  • you should read this article: http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2011/09/28/140877140/reebok-agrees-to-refund-25m-to-those-who-purchased-toning-shoes in particular the paragraph that says: The nonprofit group compared the benefits of toning shoes from Skechers, Reebok and MBT with ordinary running shoes. "Both studies…
  • i have the opposite problem! when they fit my hips, they get pulled down because it's so tight at my thighs. but when they fit my thighs they're dancing around my hips.
  • if you're standing at attention so long that your heart rate drops to resting then, yea, you should turn it off. But realistically, if you're called to attention right after performing an exercise or told to start an exercise from attention, there's no time to mess with the HRM. Just keep in mind that the method MFP…
  • Yup. I weigh myself everyday several times a day and it goes up and up and up then down a bit... lol. It'll fluctuate between 2 - 4lbs. But I only record it once a week on Wednesday morning. That's when you really see the difference. If it's getting annoying watching the scale go up and down, don't weigh yourself so often.…
  • you're supposed to eat back your calories because MFP already takes into consideration you're BMR (how many calories you need for your body to function) then it tells you to eat less and that's the number you see on your profile. The deficit is built in. if you don't eat back your calories you risk going into starvation…
  • EAT MORE! Although it sounds counter-intuitive you're going to have to eat more to lose the weight. Not too long ago I changed the settings to the 2lb a week calorie settings, trying to lose weight faster, and even while eating back my exercise calories, I didn't lose weight for weeks. I changed it back to the 1lb setting,…
  • Wearing double clothing doesn't burn more calories, you just sweat more. Keep in mind that calories are a form of energy that your body needs to function. While sweating is just your body's way of keeping your skin cool when it over heats. No relation between the too. If they were related I'd be as thin as a toothpick down…
  • It depends on the kind of pain.... Soreness (i.e.hurts when you use your abs) is expected. But pain when your muscles are relaxed I don't think is normal.
  • Go to MY HOME >> Settings >> Update Diet/Fitness Profile
  • I was going to say the same thing. Also, at 6mph, I have to move at a jog. At 5'11", even with my long legs, no way I can walk at that pace.
  • I'm 5'11" with a large frame so I'm aiming for my high school weight of 175ish (when I was wearing a size 9 jeans but no one would ever guess that because of the height). At that point I *might* aim for less. But we'll see ;-)
