Most people weigh themselves in the morning, but people's bodies differ and not everyone is at their lightest in the morning. The important thing is to be consistent with the time of day that you weigh yourself.

Once you start getting active again, the motivation will come. I seem to have a slight case of seasonal depression, so I turn on as many lights as possible when I get home. If it is bright in the house, you can't tell what season it is! Good luck! Push yourself! You did it before, and you can do it again!

Weekends are SOOO hard for me! I so want to lose weight, but I hate being regimented on the weekends and always end up overeating. I need to stop doing it.

Feel free to add me! I also hate cooking things that take a long time to cook. If you have anything like a george forman, that would be my recommendation. Chicken only takes like three minutes to cook! Even I can wait 3 minutes.

My meal plan did me in. It took me a while to realize that although my dining hall always has a desert buffet, I don't always need to go to it. What works best for me is to try to estimate what everything is worth before I pile it onto my plate.

Swimming is great for your body, it works a wide variety of your muscles and it is low impact. If you are not a great swimmer, you can always just hold onto a kick board, it is a great leg workout! Try buying snacks that are healthy and low in calories so that you wont be as likely to eat junk food when you get home.

I usually gain about 5lbs right around that time, but I usually lose it a day or two after. Boy I hate seeing the scale go up, but it sure feels good to see it go down 5lbs!

I too am a picky eater. I hate veggies! I know that I have to start eating better if I want to lose weight. I have heard that veggies are easy to hide if you blend them up and put them inside of something you are cooking. You should definitely let yourself have some cake, its your birthday! Since you know who is making the cake, ask your husband for the recipe and put it into the recipe creator, it will tell you how many calories are in the cake. Have a good birthday!

Some days there just isn't any time to work out. Try finding ways to get a little exercise in during the day. Make a point to take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk as much as possible. There are a good number of exercises that you can do at your desk without anyone noticing.
