  • I just bought one at Wal-Mart called a SportLine, it counts steps, miles, and calories burned. I have only used it once, but for the $7 I spent, it seems to be worth it.

  • Good job! It means that what u did worked. Just remember, you don't want to work the same areas everyday. It's when you don't feel anything the next day that you need 2 worry 'bout.
  • Welcome - This place is great because of the motivation - I am a newbie as well, but what I have learned so far (in my own experience) is, the hardest thing is "NOT" my work outs, the hardest thing is getting my *kitten* to do them.

  • Thanks 4 the reply's - Don't get me wrong, I am a exercise guru (newbie) and burn more than I eat. But I love to cook and with cooking comes eating as well as snacking - I guess my main question is, is it okay to eat more as long as I am burning it off?
