English then Irish. Being from the South, unless it's southern like classic southern (If you've watched House of Cards, Kevin Spacey does a pretty accurate classic southern accent), they are a turn off. All of that country stuff? No thank you.

The girl from Paramore.

My lower half increasing muscle and not decreasing in size would explain a lot...maybe my lower half can't get much smaller, lol. I guess I've got booty models like J. Lo and Kim Kardashian as images to strive towards!

I hate being that girl, but: Bump I'm hoping someone else has worked with this issue!

This was EXACTLY what I needed to read this morning! Thank you! I didn't know about weighing after a rest day, and I was getting so frustrated that I was considering the no-exercise-just-cut-calories route. This has showed me that all the new strength training I'm doing will pay off!

I didn't find this until late last night! So I'll just be a day behind. But I did the first workout this morning and WOW! I have't broken that much of a sweat in a while.

Girl, me too.

Thank you! And in the future: muscle tone and flexibility. I would love to pick up more yoga and pilates classes and really work on my core strength.

My picture is Jennifer Love-Hewitt. I think she's fit, but not so terribly tiny so I like to think of her as a good model to strive for. And you're right...I've lost 18 lbs at this point. 7 more isn't much. It's just taking SO. VERY. LONG.

Any time I seem to add calories though I automatically start gaining and I really (obviously) don't want to do that!
-
I'm in the exact same boat. I started at 150, have lost about 18 lbs, and at 132 I still feel like I look the exact same. It's really disheartening.

Thank you!!!! (and for the stomach...it's a nice fuzzy pic and you're missing some lovely bumpage, I swear!)
-
How many calories are you burning exercising? You should probably be eating higher calories foods.
-
I did the "sick and tired" thing at Christmas, because since then I've lost and kept off 10 lbs. But since April I've been stuck at 139.4 lbs. I stay motivated when I watch that number changing...but as soon as it goes up I get so disheartened. I exercise at least 4x a week, sometimes more, and always burn at least 300…

Never running, but I've had that happen on an elliptical a lot! I just stop and shake them until they wake up, then keep going.
-
I don't know, I've had it say different amounts everyday, up and down. I'm not sure it's entirely on the ball because it varies so.
-
Since Freshman year (about to finish senior year), I gained a little over 25 lbs. Trust me...so many people get it! Congrats on your goal and I know if you put your mind to it you can get it done!

All of these were really helpful! Thanks so much! Hopefully it'll pay off!
