I have my protein set to 240 grams a day, and I get close to it most days. You can suppliment your protein intake with Protein shakes........ try and find one that is low in carbs % fat. The one I use is low in carbs & fat and 25 grams of protein per shake ( I have 3 shakes a day between meals )

If you are doing any type of strength training, you should be eating at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. As an example......... if you are 150lbs you should be eating 150 grams of protein. It will also reduce muscle loss while on a calorie deficit.

If you are NOT doing strength or weight training start doing some at least 3 times a week ( mon,wed,fri ) etc. The more lean muscle you have the faster your metabolism, the faster your metabolism the more fat you will burn just doing your day to day things. I take 2, 30gram scoops of whey protien powder with 400ml water, straight after my weight & cardio workouts. I have read that there is a 45 min window after you work out, where protien is absorbed quicker to your muscles to help recovery faster.

I`m 6'4'' and currently at 281lbs, mine is set at 2150 cals, and I don't eat back my excercise calories, this is working for me as I have lost 42lbs in 9 weeks, I am also building muscle keeping my protien intake high.
