One of my faves is the tricep dip. You can use a bench, step, chair, even a ball to do this one.

I am on board (again). Had eye surgery the last week of September, so had to quit the video. will probably wait until Sunday to begin just to be on the safe side. Even though I was up to level 3, with some modifying of course, I will probably begin at level 1. Good Luck everyone!:drinker:

Hello, good to have you with us!:flowerforyou:

Awww, I'm with all you guys. It was a beautiful weekend up here in Northern Michigan (today's a little cooler). However, as I mentioned in another thread, I had laser eye surgery Thursday and haven't been able to do much of anything so far. No exercise at all! And, yesterday we had a big 40th b-day party planned for my…

Thanks for all the great advice! Even if I can maintain the work I've done so far, I will be happy with that!

Okay, I know there were some typos in there...still seeing a little blurry:wink:

Hi everybody! I started out doing pretty well, things are slow, but still going in the right direction. This morning, I had laser eye surgery :glasses: done which went really well. However, any exercise, strenuous activity, yard work, any dusty environments are all off limits fora at least a week, and up to 10 days. I am…

Welcome! You're going to do great!:drinker:

Hang in there! It'll get better, but some days are definitely harder than others. I've gotten used to eating a lot of the same types of foods and meals, which makes it a lot easier to keep track as the day goes on! You can do it!

Yep, you can calibrate it for either walking or running. Just remember to walk at a normal pace when you do calibrate it.:drinker:

Yes, my husband an I both have used Nike+ for about a year. I LOVE it. The database is very handy and also very motivating. None of my running shoes have been Nike+ compatible, but I bought a little "pouch" off Amazon that is made for just this situation. I strap it on the top of my shoe with the laces and it works fine.…

HI, sorry I haven't been posting, but I have been keeping up on all your great progress. And have actually been keeping up with my shredding. Maybe this has been mentioned in the past, but is there any way of guesstimating how many calories burned in one session of Shred? Thanks!

Wow! Fantastic! Where I work, we usually recommend anything under 15% being too low for females! You are perfect right now!:glasses:

Great job on all your hard work! What a great motivator you are now!!:flowerforyou:

I with you guys. It's actually gotten to the point that we just really prefer cooking our own food. I know exactly what goes in. I used to love Coldstone Creamery until I found out that the "Love It" size chocolate and Peanut Butter shake had almost 1700 in it! :noway: I probably sucked that down in a half hour! Not worth…

Hi there! You know what's funny? I know I can stop the dvd anytime, but I'm really scared of Jillian. I'd feel so guilty if I didn't do it . I guess that's a good thing that she is so mean, it seems to really be working so far!

Welcome aboard! You'll do great here! Lots of support from everyone.:drinker:

Everyone is doing Awesome! I can't believe how inspiring this website has been for me. And in only a week's time. I teach a class at the local gym and let myself get out of shape over the last two months (nursing some injuries). I started Shredding on Thursday and tonight in class, I really felt like I kicked everyone's…

I think it's great for both of you! My hubby is my workout partner and he even is a label reader!!! :noway: He has gotten into the whole healthy lifestyle thing as much as me. Support each other. Encourage him when you can, but don't criticize. Maybe getting him a subscription to a men's health magazine might help him in…

Great article! It's actually up on the bulletin board at my gym. Right now, I am addicted to Oikos greek style yogurt. The honey flavor. It has the highest protein I've found in any yogurt, and low in sugars. Very yummy!

oops! Still trying to figure out all this. Anyhoo...10 pound weights!!?? I thought I could do fives and actually backed down to 3# each the second time I shredded. During those 3 seconds I thought my arms were going to fall off. I am REALLY impressed!
