Great start! 10 pounds in 3 weeks is awesome! And 30 minutes per day is the perfect amount of exercise to start.....you might want to slowly increase it if you are able to but sounds like you're doing all the right things. Decreasing the OJ might be a good idea.

Plyometrics is probably the toughest part so just make sure you stretch well and don't push yourself too too hard with that one. That was my mistake and every time I did it I would be too sore to do any workout besides cardio for days.

Thanks for posting this! Whenever people come in with prescriptions to treat MRSA they are always so clueless as to where they possibly picked up the infection......I wonder if any of them got it from their gyms? So scary :angry:

hahaha....there's one point where she says "couple more" but actually does 5 more of something and I feel like throwing something at my TV OMG I'm sorry to say but it makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who hates push ups. I feel like a wimpy weakling on my knees and barely able to go down to the floor :sad:

Maybe....I read a bunch of studies and it looks like the actual cause is inconclusive but compared to day-workers the largest difference was lipid levels...particularly LDL. Scary, I'm only going to work nights one more year and back to days. It's not worth the risks!

Leptin is produced by adipose tissue mainly. So it makes sense that obese humans have excess leptin - but what about athletes? Since they have significantly less adipose tissue are they leptin-deficient? I wonder if there will ever be a way to supplement leptin (via injection) like insulin? Or medications that improve…

I don't have a source....I have had this same thought before and I have heard that the less you sleep or if you work night shifts you store more fat......and just what I remember from physiology classes - the liver is most active around 2-3am and that is why alot of cholesterol medications are to taken at night...I'm not…

Ummm....where did you find her products? In Canada they've been removed from the shelves and I was under the impression she was being sued for these products. They're useless. From what I understand ...the longer you are awake you will burn more calories but the ratio of fat you're burning is actually less because you are not asleep long enough for your liver to function appropriately.....the liver works night-shift

That sucks :angry: .... is the "Last Chance Workout" a different DVD? Maybe your body just needs more challenge - I would try doing that LCW workout every day instead....or alternate with cardio. I heard weight loss is 60/40 nutrition/exercise - what are you eating??

I work 10pm-8am ...6 days a week. I've been doing this for just over a year. What works best for me is to eat a big meal before work (80% protein) and then snack every 2-3 hours or so and have another large meal around 4am - I eat a snack at 6am and then stop eating - then I go to sleep at 9am and wake up at 6pm and…

That's awesome! How long is the yoga meltdown work out? Wow, your results are SO inspiring!! 90 day shred sounds like a good idea...it'll probably take me a month to be able to do a proper push up anyway....my arms are so weak ... or maybe my body's too heavy lol
