  • Incredible. I am so happy for you and your new life. What an inspiration to everyone. You look awesome. Thank you so much for sharing. Wow Wee, I'm speechless...
  • You go girl. Wecome. You'll do great and love it here. We've all been there - up and down and then up again. This time counts forever.
  • I love to eat peppered beef jerky:smile:
  • OMG - you look fantastic. I am so impressed and motivated. Please tell me how long it took for you to loose the weight and how many calories you ate, etc. I've lost 40 pounds so far. Only people who haven't seen me in forever even notice though. I have only 30 more to go and then it should be very noticeable. Please let me…
  • You hang in there. We've all been there before, but you MUST stop now. You know what they taste like, and you know you can always have another some day, just no more today. I don't know if you are a Christian, but prayer can truely be an answer. Throw those bad foods away now. It's not going to stop anyone from starving if…
  • So proud of you. You look awesome and so much younger. I hope that happens to me as well. I'm 5' tall and at 158 down from 189. Only 2 people have noticed though. Keep up the good work, you will make it.
  • Awesome. Wow-Wee my 5 year old grandson would say. You are such an encouragement.
  • Wow, I thought I would never get to the end of recipes. That should do her for a while!!!! I copied many myself. Thanks for taking the time do to this. I know it was greatly appreciated/
  • Way to go. You have done an excellent job, and yes, it is worth it. Not only for looks but for your health as well. May you stay forever thin!!!! You know, nothing tastes as good as being thin feels.....
  • Thanks for that reply. I think I stopped by McDonald's because it is what I used to do. Good idea to look back at what and why. I'm leaving town tomorrow morning going to Oklahoma to visit my brother that I haven't seen since my sister died (from complications of diabetes). That was about 8 years ago. I guess I'm nervous...
  • I am so so so so proud of you. You will give hope to thousands of people. Thanks to your wife also for being an encourager.
  • I would love to do this also, but someone please tell me how are you going to lose that much in 49 days? I'm currently eating 1,200 calories, mostly less than that, and only manage 1 pound a week or every 8-9 days. Tell me what to do, and I'll do it.
  • First, congratulations on your weight loss. I was Pre-diabetic for about 2 years. My doctor told me if I would exercise and loose weight I would be just fine. My sister died from diabetes complications, my two brothers have diabetes, one very seriously. He is very overweight, has lost 100 pounds without trying. He does not…
  • I believe it is good to have the option to change up your exercise program working different areas of your body. It's worth it, if you will use it. I say buy it, but use it.
  • I like to have a whole wheat toast with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter. I sometimes have one light frozen waffle with light strawberry cream cheese on it. In a pinch - I love the chocolate mint Zone bars. They have 210 calories with 14 grams of protein. On your way out the door, grab a string cheese and a plum.
  • I'm so embarrassed to say this - what is an HRM? I must really be behind the times. Haven't looked into anything healthy for a long time, but am giving it my best shot now. Please explain!
  • Hi there. You are going to love MFP. It's so great to look back over the week if you haven't lost like you thought you should to see what you did wrong. The people are truly great. Don't give up - Keep on keeping on....

  • I agree with you. We have to find what works best for ourselves as we are all different. I set my goat at 1,200 calories per day. I need to go back and lower my carbs and raise my protein.
  • Wow Susan. Congratulations on your loss so far. It is so amazing to know people who really do it and work their plan. They will surely reap the rewards. You go girl.
  • I don't know how much you weigh, but I was taught by my trainer that you take your weight and multiple it by 11. In order to loose 1-2 pounds per week, you need to cut out 500 calories from that total. Example: I weight 175 X 11 = 1,925 (thats how many calories I could eat and maintain my current weight. If I take 500…
  • WOW - you have done wonderfully. I'm glad to finally see someone in my weight range and what can happen. I'm 5'0" tall and weigh 174 now. I'm down from 189, but 110 is my goal. I've never been able to picture it, but you have certainly been an encouragement to me. Thank you for sharing. By the way, I'm a Newbe
