Almost! CW - 247 GW - 150 We can do this! I HAVE to do this. I've allowed my weight to get completely out of control and it's got to stop. One of my bosses from years ago told me when I was in my 20s that I needed to watch what I was eating because I would hit an age where it wouldn't be so easy to get it off. I should…

A little over a year ago, I had lost over 40 pounds by tracking on MFP and exercise and I felt and looked great. My problem was staying on course. I have now regained 30 of those pounds because when I hit my goal weight, I stopped tracking, etc. Part of my problem was a move across the country and once I got out of my…

I weigh every morning. For me, I want to know daily and quickly if something that I'm doing isn't working. I don't want to get a week down the road, weigh, and find out that I've gained 2 pounds. Sometimes it's frustrating, but it keeps me motivated.

I use whatever the gym equipment tells me I've burned based on my weight, age and workout intensity. It's probably not very accurate, but it's all I have right now. I'm interested in a monitor of some sort if anyone has a recommendation.

I am 44 and holy cow does it get harder to drop weight. I aim for 1200 calories a day, but I honestly have trouble eating that much. I drink almost a gallon of water a day, eat a lot of protein and veges, and at the end of the day, if I've hit 1000 calories, I'm doing good. Then when I throw in a workout, the dang thing…

I feel like I'm eating all day long and I still can't manage to consume 1200 dang calories a day. I think it's what you're eating that's the problem. I also drink a lot of water, close to a gallon a day, which makes you feel full. You can eat sooo much more when what you're eating is healthy (endless veges, etc). Sounds…

Multivitamins make me sick also so I take them at night when I go to bed. I typically fall asleep very quickly and they don't make me sick that way. Just a thought :)

I also weigh myself twice a day, morning and evening. This is what I have to do to keep myself in check. I don't want to get to the end of a week and find out that I've gained a pound or more because something that I'm doing or eating isn't working for my body. I think that daily monitoring is healthy as long as you don't…

No, I get them at a local health food store in a bag. I use them in several recipes. They are a great filler and they are great for you.

I tried refrigerator oatmeal for the first time this morning. OMG....where has it been all my life? I had no idea. Very tasty for those of you who have not ever tried it. I made a modified version of a raspberry recipe. I just replaced the milk with unsweetended almond milk and the raspberry preserves with 1 tsp of honey.…
