I usually go with a shopping list, and mainly shop the perimeter or the stores as well. I have 5 days worth of meal plans, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. The other two days are left overs or other plans. I have more veggies and protein and cutting back on starches and processed food.

I made this tonight as I was craving a little something sweet. I added 3 chopped fresh strawberries and had to nuke it for 90 seconds. I added some fat free vanilla yoghurt. It was delicious and hit the spot. Thanks for posting the recipe.

1/2 lb. per week. It took me about 15 years to gain 50 lbs. so I figure I should loose it slowly that way I would be able to maintain the loss. So far have lost 20 lbs since last summer. What has helped me a lot is the 17 Day Diet by Dr. Mike Moreno. It is rather strict but worked great for me. I have the CD and do it frequently, especially when the weather is bad outside. It is a good workout and you can really go at it or take it a bit easier. I like it and have had good results.

Don't be discouraged, remember it took you a while to put the wight on so it will take a while to get rid of it. One pound is great, its gone and thats how you will do it. One pound at a time. Good for you, continue on your journey to successful weight loss no matter how slow or fast.
