Just a thought on low cal eating out...a couple of months ago the government came up with an intiative with several eateries to put calorie infomation on the menus. What do you think of this being made compulsary across all eateries in the uk?

Ooh okay! Yeah, im going to use a cross trainer because treadmills scare the living daylgihts out of me! Ive read the first time you do it it shouldnt be longer than 12 mintues the work out, but well see how well I cope :).
-
Thanks to everyone :). The more I read, the more I confuse myself But basically is it: Warm up for 3-5 minutes, then 30 seconds on a high intensity level then a minute at the warm up/slightly above warm up level, the repeat? Thanks :)
-
I just drink it and drink it- makes me feel better than when I used to drink coke as if it was water!! But also I do it before every meal to fill myself up and when Im bored and I know ill be reaching for any sort of food again!
-
Thanks everyone! Yeah thinking chicken burger but if its meat only, not breaded which it probably will be :(. Or the jacket potato (not the skin) with beans or the chicken tikka massala with no rice cos spicy food speeds up the metabolism apparently!
-
I hope im not rude, and if you feel like it, add me as a friend and ill help you best i can :)

A handful of nuts? Ive read in several articles online that a handful of nuts (not sure how often, at least once a day) helps with filling you up and thus preventing cravings. Sorry if that doesnt help but only thing I can think of!

When I frst started MFP i was considering joining curves but then I thought 3 times a week excrcise isnt for me, simply because Id get bored and wouldnt go. I have to do things every day in order to stick with them which is why I joined a gym and went 5 times a week. But if you have equipment at home, and join curves it…
-
Thankyou for this :). Saw someone on a post slating it, but I have faith in it :)!
-
How weird! As I found with live strong, its promoting the same values as MFP but saying 905? Makes me glad to have found MFP first :).
-
this always happens to me! also, the frenemy. Similar to the best bud but will get on to the one right next to you, set it to a higher level than you and go mad, whilst your struggling along!

No but I have tried meal replacement schemes before (Tony ferguson!). I only lasted 3 days and had severe headaches, low energy and one day couldnt even move out of bed! I wouldnt recommend them unless they do actually teach you how to maintain properly afterwards and not just reely on the shakes and things.
