I had to start out just walking and lifting light weights so I wouldn't get too dizzy. Then I was able to do more and more. Now I can do spin bike for an hour and lift decent weights :) Don't get discouraged, just pace yourself and it will happen!

I have both. The bowflex is only used for two exercises. Sports Authority has a great squat rack on sale half price at $350 right now. I love it. Just add a bench and weights. You can do about anything with it. It has pulleys for lat pull-downs and also rows. Pull ups and dips as well. The best

My favorite way to prepare salmon is to place thin slices of lemon alternated with pickled jalepenos on the top. I drizzle some of the pepper juice all over it. Shake a little salt and pepper on it. It is very tasty :)

bump, cuz I have a low heart rate and I know I am not in super aerobic shape. It is 48 just sitting around relaxing. So this may be interesting.

I have a fitbit Force and I love it! It helps to get an idea of how many calories and steps you do in a day so you can eat accordingly.

I start yawning when my body thinks it needs some extra oxygen coming in :) I agree with the person that said just start with legs and then add arms etc as you build up. It keeps your heart rate in a reasonable range when you start out. Don't be discouraged, just keep moving :)

Tons of interesting info. I do appreciate the responses. Now I have a better idea of what to expect as far as goal weights in different areas. I realize each individual needs to work with their body and progress at their own rate. I will be adding more compound movements for a base as well. I do like the curls and flyes…
