Looking for ''arm-wing'' success stories :P

I've always been quite flabby under the arms....you know, the ol' ''wing'' look, and it seems to be getting worse as I lose weight. Is there anybody out there who started out with them (like some good sized wings, not just a tiny bit) and did eventually see them shrink when the weight was lost? Or am I doomed to be stuck in long sleeves until the end of time. I would hate to be at the point where I can wear a decent bathing suit and still have to put a t-shirt on so as to cover the horror that is my built in 'hang-glider'.

curious too...I am building muscle now which seems to at least serve as a bit of a distraction to the extra skin hanging, but short of surgery, I don't think there's much one can do - but would like to be proven wrong
congratulations on the significant weight loss, though!0 -
So I'm definitely not an arm-wing success story....but I saw this forum post the other day that gave me some hope, so I thought I'd share:

Yeah, I've done primarily cardio with the exception of doing the little bit of strength with small hand weights in Jillian Michael's 30 day shred a few times a week. I've always maintained that public exercise is for people who are less flibbity flobbity than me so I don't go to a gym where more strength training with proper equipment would be an option. I'm also too poor for memberships with that kind of thing. I'll re-evaluate once I hit the 150 range.0

Yeah i am a new runner, so im doing lots of cardio,, ive also done a few sessions of jillian michaels 30ds, and that has really helped but im in the same boat. My teenage son teases me about my " Bingo Wings" lol I think they are the things that concern me the most. The muscle is under neath but so much loose skin,0

Since you don't have money for memberships and don't want to venture into the public weight section, try youtube! You can search "body weight arm exercises" there are a ton of videos that pop up which generally only require your own body weight.
I'm no expert, but IMHO if you've done the cardio and lost the fat and the elasticity in your skin has not kicked back into gear your best bet is to fill some of that space with muscle and get more definition, which will move your skin around some...GOOD LUCK!
Also, Jillian's DVD's are great for arm and shoulder exercises!
