I agree so much with this. There is always an element of capitulation when I binge, it’s me giving up on myself. It is a form of self-harm. None of us would ever treat another person this way...

Awesome! Have sent you a friend request

Thank you for the tips! x

thank you for posting your stories. I am going through something similar, in November I had a miscarriage and I have to come to terms with not being able to have children. It's so hard and I have regained about 30lbs. Be kind to yourselves ladies, life is hard enough without beating ourselves up. I am scared though as I…

Great life advice :flowerforyou:

Yes I think you are correct. This is from the NICE guideline: NICE clinical guideline CG43 on obesity recommends that bariatric surgery is a treatment option for adults and children if all of the following criteria are fulfilled: the person has a BMI of 40 kg/m2 or more, or between 35 kg/m2 and 40 kg/m2 and other…

This is such great advice, and so true, thanks :flowerforyou:

Great loss! Keep going, you can totally do this :flowerforyou:
-
Totally! I've lost 70lbs and have been trying to lose the last 15 for over a year. I've just lost my mojo and consistency and I'm constantly losing and gaining the same 5lbs, over and over ad nauseam... I've been thinking of moving to maintenance for a while, I'm not sure. Best of luck to you! :flowerforyou:
-
Hi OP I don't have any experience of "bad stuff" myself but then I'm not maintaining yet! I aim for a moderate calorie deficit so would not fit into the category you are talking about. I'm adding some links here about the adaptive thermogenesis and physiological and hormonal adaptations to weight loss in case you are…

Hi everyone! I'm so sorry for going AWOL for a few days, work has just been crazy (excuses, excuses!). Hope you are all doing OK. Today was P90X3 Decelerator DVD - I felt really weak and struggled to get through it, but I did it! As Cybaby says, we just have to build up our strength and fitness gradually. Take care…

Happy 4th! (I'm at Brit, so happy independence from us!!) Just a walk for me today, was hot but felt good. Hope you all have a great day :flowerforyou:

I agree with the above poster, and wonder if you have already made up your mind and just want some back up. Either way, it's none of my business, but this did happen with my husband, he became depressed (symptoms of depression are not always what you think). I still love him just the same. Best of luck to you and hope it…

P90X3 Isometrix today, and a short (but brisk) walk. Keep going everyone! xo

Hi everyone! hope you are all doing well :flowerforyou: Just yoga today for me, I feel like I'm getting a little sick  but will take plenty of vitamin c and hope it goes away!! Have a great day xoxo

So sorry I missed yesterday - had a crazy day!! I was super disappointed that I missed my workout (my food was awful too). But I'm still here -keep going everyone! Will post again later after work when I have completed my workout. I'm planning to get a long walk home in today too as my husband has the car - and it's hills…

I moved on to Ripped in 30 (slightly less 'samey' as it changes each week rather than every 10 days) which I liked a lot. Jillian gives a lot of pep talks in it which I like! Then I bought several of her other DVDs (Burn Fat Boost Metabolism and another one I can't remember the title of, sorry! - buns and thighs…

That website doesn't look very authoritative to me - I would take it with a grain of salt and not worry about it!
-
Yes, this is good advice. It's called the Abstinence Violation Effect. Take care and try to take the emotions out of the equation as much as you possibly can and just start where you left off :flowerforyou:
-
You are all doing brilliantly! Luckily today was yoga day for me which made it easier as I really wasn't feeling it :ohwell: Got it done! Here's to day 11! xoxo

Crazy cat lady right here! My two princes are completely spoiled.

Finishing P90X3 first and then this is next on my list! Love Chalene!! xo

It's awesome that you are fitting in activity even though your schedule is off. It all adds up! xo
