The other thing that I did not state was that when I was at 300 pounds that I was at 29% BF. Most weeks since November I have been averaging around 8 hours of cardio and since January 1 I have been doing strength training. I weighed 279.8 pounds on 2/29/2012 for a total of 11.4 pounds for the month. That is 45.2 pounds since being on MFP and 50.2 pounds total. I started on 11/29/2011. :happy:

I was 291.2 pounds on February 1. I am down to 282.6 pounds as of February 23. I have lost 8.6 pounds for the month of February.:wink:

I was a competitive swimmer for 14 years through college.

I also coached for 16 years, both high school and age group. I do not swim much, anymore, I am to embarrassed to be seen in public in a swimming suit! Once I get down under 240 I will think about swimming again. I have always wanted to do a triathalon. That is one of my goals. Allen

I am 52 years old and was a college swimmer. I am lifting weights 3 days a week and doing 1 1/2 hours of cardio 3 times per week and 1 hour 3 times per week. I use the elliptical to do my cardio and I average a little over a mile in 15 minutes. Allen
