I would also make sure you are getting plenty of water (I drink a gallon a day) and good sleep. Without those two things your body goes into fight/flight mode!

almost 30 pounds since january. I've gained significant muscle mass too :) March/April I was very very VERY lax in my eating habits, but since I've really committed again in May I've lost 18 pounds!

I would avoid crystal light because of all the chemically things (artificial sweeteners). If you want to spice up your water try making a spa water. Chop up fruit/citrus and infuse the water with that. SO tasty.

Most Paleo-ers don't count calories/carbs etc. If you are looking to lose weight and adopt a paleo lifestyle, I would limit the amount of fruit/nuts in your diet. High fat and high protein yield great results. Just listen to your tummy :) I shoot for about 40% from fat, 35% protein, and 25% carb and I lead a very active…

You look great! I really appreciate your story. I was stubbornly doing things "my way" for a long time and finally decided that perhaps I wasnt the expert. Since then, with the help of a phenomenal trainer, I'm losing weight and gaining muscle like crazy (in a happy and healthy way!)
