  • Thanks everyone. I put in my stats and it gave me 1200 cals but I just changed it myself to 1500. I'm going to give it a try for a week as suggested and see what happens
  • Yes, that's what I'm going to do I think. It's all psychological......just knowing I have those extra is enough that I probably won't eat them anyway!! Lol Thanks
  • Thanks everyone for your replies. Lots of tips and advice very much appreciated

  • Thankyou all for the replies. I'm going to take your advice and wait for the appointment. Think I'll just use the pool until then.
  • Hi, thanks for the reply. Tbh....I'm not diagnosed. I tend to just get on with it as I'm waiting for an appointment which they've cancelled twice! I just don't want it to get in the way of any progress. I'm joining the gym today and want it to be a worthwhile investment

  • Thanx for everyone's comments. i'm on 1330 cals a day, i exercise everyday at least 45mins mostly cardio. i drink water all day except for the odd coffee i find that i'm so paranoid about logging my cals to few that i probably over estimate each food so i'm sure i won't go over...maybe this is the problem , maybe i'm not…

This is a fantastic site and with the tools and support you'll definitely loss those pounds...it must be good as this is the longest i've ever stuck to a diet and actually enjoy it, it puts you in control, i decide when and what i eat as long as it adds to my total calories so in…
  • unfortunately...and i'm gutted too!! the older we get the less elasticity the skin has( and i think having had children doesn't help) so if there is a lot of excess skin the only way (after toning as much as possible) is surgery to remove the excess!

  • Thanx to eveyone for their replies. I am currently supposed to be having 1330 calories per day, i've also just done my BMR calculation and that was 2298 so what i'm eating is nearly 1000 calories less than to maintain but i'm exercising everyday mostly cardio and small weights i very rarely eat all of my calories just…
