Lol! I guess next time I should put Pittsburgh Penguins Fans. That might make things a little more clear.

Set a new goal. :) There are always new challenges. You don't have to necessarily lose more weight, but make a new fitness goal or something else that will challenge you.
-
That's so awesome! I love it when other women are lifting!
-
So after about nine months of lifting I was finally able to increase my weight on my lateral raises and front raises to a 12 lb dumbbell. :) I only did 5 reps, but they are smaller muscles so I was just happy to increase the weight.

Lift weights. I suggest heavy ones. Women don't have the levels of testosterone needed to get "bulky" without using steroids. So you will build dense muscle that will make you look athletic, but not manly.

Sounds like a douche to me. Don't waste your time. You can find someone who will treat you better.

I'm going to keep bringing this one back. :)

Hey! I'm 5'10 SW: 162 CW: 153 GW: 160 (muscle) I'm all about being healthy!!! :)
-
Bump! I wanna see if anyone else will do this. :-)
-
See doesn't it feel good?? :-) It's so positive hearing people say good things about themselves.

Very nice work!!! You rock!
-
Make the most of those calories!!! You should have a spike in energy, so go on an extra long run or do an extra workout. That's what I do. :)

I want to shame 10 black men...

I tried listening to some heavier music the other day, but it just wasn't working for me. Lol. I tried like Five Finger Death Punch, but it seems I just can't go heavier than Staind. No Love by Eminem gets me pumped up too. I'm showing the weights no love. Lol

Protein shakes are my favorite part of my diet!!!
-
Ugh. I hate running on the dreadmill. Lol. I feel like I'm stuck in purgatory.
-
\ Definitely a good one to motivate you. I also really like Half-Truism by The Offspring.
-
Great! It's all about making better choices! :) And don't beat yourself up over little slip ups. Always be encouraging to yourself because you are the person that is making it all happen.

Just peeked at your diary. It looks good. I wouldn't stress over eating fast food now and then. Since you said you are only at day four, just worry about taking little steps. If you change everything at once, chances are, you won't stick to it.
-
If you have your calorie level set at 1200, then your body is not used to eating so few calories. I would say that you should set the level at a 1 lb a week loss. That way your body will adjust to the change without causing you to binge.
-
Oh no girl. You are not alone. There are plenty of people that feel the same way you do.
-
Haha from the stats you all have given me, I have a LOT more work to do.
-
Thanks guys! :)

I would definitely go with a trainer first, since you say you don't have friends that really want to go to the gym. They will make sure you are doing the correct form so you won't cause yourself further damage. I love lifting heavy weights. I was nervous at first because I didn't want to get bulky, but then I found out…
-
Exactly! This is all about lifestyle changes. You don't want to deprive yourself of some of your cravings. It's just a matter of controlling them. What you did was perfect. If you constantly say no to yourself for the cravings, you will go insane and you most likely will not stick to your new habits.

Well what kind of artists are you thinking of? Here's one that I always like "Spiderwebs" by No Doubt.

It's all mental. If you decided you want to do it, and you really want to do it. You will be fine. Especially once you get in the heat of competition.
