What if I continually exercised and ate at maintenance for a week but on one day of the week I ate over maintenance . Would I slowly gain weight even if I continually exercised during the week ?

What if you eat to lose 1 pound for 6 out of 7 days per week and on one day out of the week you went a little over your calories . So mfp gives me 1590 to Lose half a pound per week . My maintenance is 1840 , if I eat at 1590 6 out of 7 days a week and then on the seventh day I eat 2,500 , will I still lose weight ? And if not , at what calories over my maintenance would I still be able to lose weight for the week ?

Also , this question may be a little naive , but can I maintain my weight but have my body get smaller by just having a good exercise regimen and eating at maintenance ? Like can my weight be the same but my clothing size get smaller

What if someone were to go over maintenance on let's say Sunday and then throughout the next two weeks they ate at a deficit to lose 1 pound and then the next day they went over maintenance again and repeated this cycle , would everything just balance out ?

What if I were to set my goal to lose 1 pound and then did this for 7 days and then the next weekend went on maintenance and then set myself to lose one pound for another 7 days . Would I be able to lose two pounds and have an entire weekend of maintenance ?
