Before and during... 44 pound loss with pics

Lifting while trying to lose weight
I want to start incorporating lifting into my workouts instead of just cardio but I'm also trying to lose 2lbs/week to avoid muscle loss, start on toning, and try to avoid loose skin since once at my goal weight I will have lost 120 pounds. Any suggestions on what I should do to start off?

too much protein?
I know one of the macros that MFP tracks is protein and I always seem to go over on that- not necessarily by a lot though. Is that bad? Is there such a thing as too much protein?

what kind of scale is the most accurate?
What kind of scale is the most accurate? The one I have sucks and I used to have a digital one but it would fluctuate as much as like 3 lbs ... like I would weigh myself. turn it off and back on and weigh again and it would be completely different. I feel like it wasn't accurate at all. any suggestions?

MFP says to eat 1800 calories and I have a goal to lost 120 pounds and told it 2lbs/week... that seems high. I lowered to 1600 but I see people saying they eat 1200 or 1300... any suggestions because I truly do not know
