No more hypertension
after 61 days on MFP and working out 4-5 days a week, I started with extremely high blood pressure and today I'm on the low end of "pre-hypertension." My doc asked me if I wanted meds 3 months ago and I told him I would work on it myself and BOOM!

Can anyone recommend a good monitor for body composition? If I ask to use the one at the gym, they try selling me PT. I need something affordable and accurate.

anyone have info on it? I started eating s yogurt this morning and as I read the label, a saw fructose listed as an ingredient so I stopped eating it.

Recs on free cardio videos?
I'll spare the details but I'm stuck indoors tonight and could not get a work out in. I lift tomorrow but I want to get some cardio in today. Can anyone recommend a video from YouTube or another free site I can do? I'm just looking for cardio.

Alcohol
so I had the calories saved one day to enjoy 2 delicious beers. Is there something different about these empty calories? Beer has always been connected to gaining weight in my mind. Can you lose weight and have a couple a few times a week?

On the right track, but bad news today
I've been using MFP religiously for 3 weeks and have lost 9 lbs so far. I'm happy with the app. Went to the doc for a checkup and he was happy with my lifestyle changes.
