Fat loss
Does anyone have some tips on how to lose fat? I've already reached my weight goal, but I feel like there hasn't been much progress in terms of physique. I want to try to lose fat and gain some muscle, seeing I feel like one of the weakest people I know. I strength train three days a week, and have been doing so for a…

Peanut butter addiction
So, for the longest time I convinced myself I didn't like peanut butter. Growing up I refused to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (I would only eat jelly sandwiches!) However, this past year at 18 years old I gave PB another try, and now I'm absolutely hooked. I eat it almost everyday. I love including nut butters in…

Success in maintenance
For those of you who are succeeding in weight maintenance, about how many calories do you eat per meal? And what distribution of macros do you typically aim for? I'm trying to figure out the best way for me, and obviously my calorie needs are going to be different than everyone else's. But I was curious the range of…

My protein intake
Today I hit almost 100 grams of protein after lunchtime. THIS WAS SO CRAZY TO ME. I usually get 70-80 grams within a day. Eggs and lots of Greek yogurt this morning, as well as some peanut butter. I also had chicken with lunch today, which I never usually do. Typically my protein sources are purely Greek yogurt or eggs…

Macronutrient distribution
What are all of your macro distributions? Like which percent of calories is fat, protein, and carbs. How did you choose to distribute it that way? Having a hard time knowing how much I should do for each category. Any tips would be really helpful. Thanks!

Junk food
As I've been trying to eat healthier, I feel like I've thought a lot about all the junk food in the world. I got curious and had to wonder, do you think it would be possible for someone to lose/maintain weight if they only ate "junk"/unhealthy food? As long as they were getting adequate calories or macros, would it be…

Chocolate
Hey everyone, I was wondering, how often do you let yourself splurge on chocolate? Do you think that it's fine to have a little bit, so long as it fits within your macros, sugar, etc? Or do you try to avoid it altogether? Struggling because I was gifted some dark chocolatechocolate (sea salt caramel, peanut butter,…

Starbucks
Hey fellow coffee lovers! Starbucks is of course pretty high in calories, but sometimes it feels like a necessary treat! I was just wondering what some of your favorite drinks were, and any tips you have to keep it light? I know with some modifications, their drinks aren't always terrible. I just wanted to get some…

protein powder problems!!
I've heard great things about protein powder, and I always see so many delicious looking recipes involving protein powder. I've been thinking about getting some, but I wondered, if I start using it, will it increase my muscle mass too much? I would like to be strong, but I don't particularly want huge, bulging muscles... I…

An extended "rest day." Thoughts?
Is three days off from exercise too much? I know it's beneficial to have a "rest day," but because of certain circumstances my rest day extended to three (I was visiting my sister in Chicago so I didn't have my typical workout stuff). I had to miss two days of cardio and a day of strength training. I know this isn't going…

Potatoes?
So, I'm sure we've all heard we should avoid potatoes and other high carb foods. I've been avoiding potatoes, white bread, and the likes, as I've been trying to be healthier. I came home tonight to see my mom had made baked potatoes. I definitely ate an entire one... I know I could've held back a little, but I have a hard…

TDEE help
Hey everyone, how do you calculate your TDEE? I thought I should know this. I've seen various online calculators, but I wanted to know which methods you all use. Thanks!

Getting adequate calories...
I've reached my weight goal (lost 20 pounds, woo! Thank you, exercise). When I was losing weight, I was also cutting back on calorie intake. I was probably having about 1,300-1,400 a day, and I felt fine with what I was eating. Now that I want to maintain my weight, I need to eat more, about 1,800-1,900 I think I…

Help please!
So, I'm a senior in high school. Recently I've been trying to be better about what I eat. I haven't had as much chocolate or processed/junk food as I have in the past, and I feel like I'm doing well eating "clean" (I typically make my own breakfast, lunch, and snacks). My mom usually provides dinner; she loves to cook. And…
