Keto to control hunger
I know there is a huge following and a group on here for this. And I’ve done keto before. Just had some general questions. I’m currently doing a whole grain low fat clean eating diet. No sugar or artificial sweeteners. But I get SO hungry! I eat breakfast at least twice and about 7 meals/snacks a day. I wanted to try keto…

Intuitive Eating
I was wondering what people’s thoughts were on this whether they think it’s good or bad. Listening to your body’s own hunger and fullness cues and by doing so let your body settle to a weight that it finds it functions healthiest at.

Question about activity level W/ Fitbit settings
I have my Fitbit connected but don’t know what to set my activity level at to get the right amount of additional calories to eat back. I currently have it set to lightly active and I have to burn about 175 calories before I can earn extra to eat. But if I set it to active it automatically gives me 200 additional calories…

Metformin
Has anyone who is taking Metformin noticed an easier time losing weight or less hunger? I take it for metabolic disorder but it is mainly used for diabetes and PCOS. I haven’t been on it for awhile but am refilling my prescription this morning. I can’t remember the effects but was having severe sugar cravings which would…

Can you lose weight on goal weight calories?
I heard that sometimes people just eat at the calorie level they would eat at if they were already at their goal weight to get used to it and not feel deprived. Can you still lose weight that way? Honestly I just don’t like feeling so hungry.

MFP vs Fitbit Calorie Allowance
For those of you that have Fitbits have you found that your calorie allowance for MFP and Fitbit don’t match up when connected? I am set to sedentary on MFP and to lose at a rate of 0.5 a week on both MFP and Fitbit. But MFP has me at about a 140 calorie higher allowance than when I bring up my Fitbit app and look at that.…

Meal Plan For BED Recovery
I’ve been looking at meal plans to help those recover from BED and this is the one I liked the best and thought I would share. https://www.uwhealth.org/healthfacts/nutrition/264.pdf It follows the rule of three. Eat three meals and 2 to 3 snacks a day every 3 hours. Meals are to include a serving from at least 3 food…

MFP VS. Weight Watchers
I have felt so out of control lately and thought I ruined things again today by eating the rest of a pint of Ben and Jerry’s (1cup). I thought my whole day was blown because I was way over on Weight Watcher points. I decided to see how many calories I ate and it was only 1,000. I don’t know how the day will end up but it’s…

Tall Women: How did you choose your maintenance weight.
I'm 5'11 and I've been losing weight since last February. My doctor wants me no lower than 160 pounds which is 14 pounds less than what I am right now. I've never been happy at that weight. I feel the best at 150. For you tall women like me, how did you decide on what weight to maintain? Did you go by your doctor's advice…

10,000 Steps In Addition To Regular Exercise
I apologize ahead of time for not having links to back myself up but I'm on my phone. I've been reading articles online about this 10,000 steps a day theory and found out that it doesn't count towards the daily exercise we are supposed to get. It's just how active we are supposed to be in general. So our daily aerobic…

Maintaining weight on a budget
I have reached my goal weight but am continuing to lose weight because I cannot afford the increase in groceries to maintain my weight. Made Peace With My Body
My BMI is currently 24.3. I took a progress photo of myself yesterday and it is the first time in awhile I've gotten a good look at myself and I didn't realize it but I think I look amazing! I just posted about my weight about a week ago asking what goal weight I should reach for. I'm happy with what I am now and if I lose…

Taking Better Care Of Yourself
Now I don't want people to think I never bathe but back when I was overweight I just didn't take care of myself as much as I do now that I have lost the weight. I wanted to know how many of you have changed your cleanliness and dressing habits since losing some or all of your weight? Like perhaps you shower more frequently…

47 pounds lost before and after shot
I claimed goal weight today. I'm not the thinnest I've ever been but I'm older now and it's more important for me to be healthy and I can do that at a BMI of 24.3 just the same as I could at 21 BMI. So here's to success cheers!

Vanity Pounds
My BMI is 24.4. My goal weight would put me at a BMI of 20.9. I saw my doctor today and he said I am at a normal, healthy weight. It felt so good to hear and made me so happy like I don't have to lose the last 25 pounds if I don't want to. Getting to 150 pounds was originally so important to me. And now I am starting to…

Are You Drinking Too Much Water?
As a dieter I naturally increased my water intake when I decided to change to a healthier lifestyle. I drank to rehydrate after working out, I drank to stay full between meals, and I just love my coffee so I drank that in addition to my water too. Before I knew it I was drinking water all the time and visiting the restroom…

Returning and inquiring
Do I have to post regularly on the forums so people can get to know me before I can add some friends? I'd like to have some people on my feed on my home page so I can see their progress and interact. Info and opinions appreciated. I'm halfway through my weight loss journey and would like to talk to to people making…

My Progress
I just wanted to say hello and tell you a bit about myself. I have lost almost 44 pounds and I only have 27 left to go it's so exciting! I am learning about how to slowly transition into maintenance because that part frightens me a bit and I'd like to be prepared mentally for when I reach my goal weight. I walk 5 miles a…
