Overate again :(
Hi guys I've posted before that I'm 5'5 175 lbs tryna get down to 135. I used to eat 1600 calories a day along with heavy strength HIIT workouts at a bootcamp I go to (think f45 but more cardio). When I ate at 1600, at least 2-3 times a week I got to 2300 with higher calorie meals or bad planning essentially. I tried to…

How do I stop obsessing over losing weight?
I track what I eat, workout daily, and am always looking up resources on how to lose weight. Although I feel I look better my measurements havent really changed nor the scale. How can I make this part of my life instead of my whole life?

What happens if you don't get 100g of protein a day?
Seems today was a bit more carb heavy, and adding a protein shake would put me over my calories by 100! I am going to be doing heavy exercise later so maybe it'll be okay. My question is this: What happens if you get like 60-80g of protein a day? Do your muscles atrophy?

I wanna give up. I love eating, I don't like walking
Ugh, and the numbers game with my calories and macros is annoying. I'll admit in my previous routine sometimes I ate badly because I am a foodie. However in this new phase of losing weight (again) my eating is very healthy. I have minimal adjustments I have to make with regards to getting rid of unhealthy snacks or candy.…

What happens when your macros aren't perfect?
I struggle with fat content. I can stick to the calories just fine but my fat content hovers between 30-40%. Today it's showing I'm over my fat by 7grams. I'm wondering if this side tracks all my tracking because the fat is too high?

Out of calories for the day and haven't had dinner. Any ideas?
Not sure how I miscalculated beyond having a large(ish?) Breakfast but I'm out of calories for the day with only 55 g of protein acquired. My total kcal for the day is showing 1550 and I try to stay at 1600. I want to increase my protein with a shake or maybe some meat. Not sure if I should just try to survive til the…

Eating at 1600 calories with 1700-2300 3 days a week since May 20th
Hey guys, Typically 4 days a week I eat 1600 calories and the rest varies from 1700-2300. I haven't lost any weight yet. I'm basically just at maintenance. Any advice as to why I'm not losing and what else I can do?

Is it bad too eat too much protein?
Hi guys, my stats are as follows: 5'5 female, 175 pounds hoping to lose weight. I walk 5-8k steps a day, and I go to a HIIT bootcamp class 4-5 days a week, with at least one day having weightlifting in those classes. My macros are set up to be 1600 calories, 120 grams protein, 53 g fat, 160 g carbs. I'm wondering if a. Am…

How do you count calories for takeout food? Specifically Indian
I ordered in today because I wasn't feeling well to cook. Specifically I got Chicken Makhani and Dal Makhani. I weighed everything on my scale - 3 oz of chicken, 50 ml of the sauce (Im assuming its made of heavy cream and butter, spices) and 50 ml of liquid dal, that had some oil on top. I had one half piece of a large…

How do you manage days where you are more hungry?
Today's workout at the gym was intense. I do not trust the calorie burn indicator on the watch and eat the same amount of calories (1600) no matter my physical exercise. However today I feel extra hungry, and I only have 392 calories left for dinner which is in about an hour or so. What advice do yall have? Should I eat…

Am I a failure if I have too much fat one day?
I guess I am posting this for reassurance. I am a 5'5 female weighing 175 pounds. My goal is 135. I lift twice a week and do HIIT the other 2 days at a gym class. I was advised to consume 1600 calories with 30%protein, 20%fat, and the rest carbs. I had salmon at lunch and today is shaping up to be almost 52% fat. Will this…

Is it worth adding 115 calories over my deficit to hit my protein goal?
I'm only at 99 grams of protein and aim for 120. My calories are set to 1600 so I'd be at 1715 if I added another half of my protein shake. Should I? Or will it impact my weight loss too much?

My basal metabolic rate is 1238. My workout burns approx 400 calories. Will I lose weight?
On a 1900 calorie diet? When I adjust my protein fat and carbs goal myfitnesspal tells me to eat 1900 calories. With my exercise burn it's gone up to about 2300 calories. Will I still lose weight with this deficit?
