How to weigh rice properly?
The nutrition reads on the wholegrain rice I'm cooking to put 75g of rice in a pot then so and so water. Apparently 75g is 89 calories. When it cooked I thought that was a LOT of rice for 89 calories so I assume this is wrong. When I put into MFP the rice and 75g it came up the same 89 calories. How can water add calories?…

Losing weight/fat lower body
Hello, I've been going to the gym for the past few months now. Not counted my calories, just ate better. Dropped a dress size down to a UK 12 :) But getting my lower part of my body slimmer is proving difficult. I go on holiday on 22nd September (not a lot of time, I know) so trying to lose a lil' bit more for that. I have…

What's a safe late night snack?
I was craving tonight, a pot noodle! I went into my kitchen half certain I would actually eat one haha but I poured out 35g of Branflakes and 100ml of milk instead with 1/3 banana slices. It's 10.30pm here and I'm up at 4.45am for my weigh in - I really hope this doesn't effect my weigh in. What's a safe late night snack?…

Plateau?
For the past three days I've weighed in at 112.4lb. Is this a plateau upcoming or not? I only started exercising properly on the 2nd September and going to the gym but I do go on the treadmill everyday and that's it. I intake 1200 calories per day, this is my choice as eating back exercise calories works for some and not…

Scared to raise my exercise calories...
:( (( was anyone else like this? Okay so.. math time. I'm 5'1, 18 and I'm around 115lb. My BMR is between 1250-1350, so on days off I know it would be ideal to consume 1200 calories. Although my body will be burning more than those digits even without exercise it's still in my comfort zone. But must I really raise my…

Are calorie sprays okay to use everyday?
When pan frying? I have a spray for replacing oil that's 1 cal per spray. I usually use around 10 sprays and it fries fine, but is this okay everyday? Surely it's only what inside the spray that would affect my weight, and it can't have much if it's 1 cal per?

Yoga?
Has anyone tried a yoga DVD and lost weight with it? If so, tell me about it and how effective it was, and tell me which DVD! I'm from the UK so please recommend ones I can definitely buy here. Thanks.

Two things...
I went to the gym for the first time this morning. I was motivated, I got up at 4am! But anyway... If you put your weight into a cardiovascular machine, will the calorie burn be precise? Or is it still off? It didn't ask for age/height/gender. I also spoke with a personal trainer and they said that calories don't matter...…

Joining a gym...
but I'm worried about consuming calories. I've been having 1200 a day recently with no exercise but now I'm going to be exercising. I'll go on the elliptical for about 20-30 minutes then the treadmill and switching between jogging to walking for about 20 minutes. I'll probably go on the bike afterwards but that's what I…

Need motivation and friends!
I'm starting my diet tomorrow, aswell as my mum. So there will be no bad/fatty foods at all in my house. I'm starting a 1200 calorie/day diet but I can't exercise due to a injury I recently had but hopefully I'll still see results. I'm 5'1, 114.8lb and 18 years old. I need motivation and helpful friends :) I'm wanting to…

Can I still lose weight?
I recently had an injury which has stopped me from exercising. My calorie intake recommended to lose weight is 1200. I'm 5'1, 114.8lb and 18 years old. If I intake 1200 calories (of healthy food obviously) will I still be able to lose weight without exercise? I work in a kitchen at about 4-5 hours each shift and I'm going…
