Well if you have made it this far then you are 1/6 of the way through this thing!! Still not enjoying it but am less sore and finding some things a little easier. On we go!!

March 12th
First day of L2 and I've just been reminded of why I hated it the first time round (and Jillian!! ) I hate the cardio which seems to be my weakness, not enjoying it at all and the planks are making me feel a strain in my right wrist so I'll have to be careful. On the positive side, nice to have a bit of a change in…

March 11th
Hello all, hope you're doing well. I'm back on my 5am workouts now Monday is upon us. Last day of L1 today! I did find it tougher than yesterday, perhaps because I only did yesterday's at 6pm last night so not as much of a space in between. I'm finding my right knee is hurting a bit, which I'm hoping won't hold me back as…

March 9th
Hi all, I'm away from home today so unable to get to work on day 9 and have to take a rest day. I will be back tomorrow. Just wanted to drop by to say how great you are all doing. For many of us it's a real battle of will just to do the exercise every day. But we are hanging in there and hoping to achieve good results.…

L1 D3
Finding it tough and aching all over! No fun at all, but I'm determined to carry on. Keep it going everyone!

March 8th
Hi all! Well I'm still hating this workout but the good news is that I'm still on board and feel quite pleased that I've managed to do 8 days in a row! I actually found the anterior raises easier today and did a couple of extra push ups but STILL struggling to fully complete the first set of cardio without a couple of…

March 7th
Morning! Well here we are again. Today was pretty much the same as yesterday, although I tried to use heavier weights on the first set of squat/press. On the second one I had to go back to lighter ones though. Yesterday I felt energised after I'd done it, today I could quite easily crawl back into bed! Shame I have to go…

Day 7, L1
I am still noticing slight improvements each day. I try to push myself a little further - yesterday I did more push ups, today I used slightly heavier weights for some of the moves. Keep on going everyone!

March 6th
Morning all! Well I got up to do the shred at 5:15am so I can fit it in before work. Not sure how long I'll keep that up but we'll see! This has been the first day that I've noticed a real difference. Yes it was still tough, but I felt fitter and stronger. Instead of the 1 measly full push up I could do when I started I…

March 4th
Hooray, I made myself do it! I wish I was one of the lucky ones who are beginning to enjoy it, but I will be honest and say I count down every set until the end!!! But I'm determined to keep on going as it's not meant to be easy. I will say I felt a little less out of breath today and woke up feeling a bit less…

March 3rd!
Hi all, hope you're doing well. Day 3 over with and I'm aching! Still finding it tough and realising how unfit I've become after months of skiving off. Oh well, I will keep on going.

March 2nd!
Hi all, good luck with Jillian today! Got mine done at 8am this morning to get it over with and glad I did now. Still finding the first set of cardio tough (struggling to breathe!!) but I did everything today although I modified on the push ups. Onwards we go!

Back on WW for the New Year!
Well I tried WW last year for a short while, found that it was working but got a little bored with it and then spent the rest of the year playing around with calorie counting but not being particularly consistent. My problem was eating too much "junk" within my calories and WW did help me to stop that, so here I go again!…

New to WW
All year I have been on MFP trying various calorie levels, starting up a regular exercise routine and getting more and more frustrated as in 4.5 months I lost nothing!! Some friends have had recent success on WW so I joined online 11 days ago and already am down 4.9lbs! I think I had started to abuse the calorie system and…

Exercise/scales
Just out of interest, for those who started an exercise program from doing absolutely nothing, how long before the scales shifted in the right direction? I guess a lot of people see inch loss first but I'm curious about how long the scales take to catch up. Thanks. :o )

New to group - L1 D3!
Hi all, Just found this group and am finding it really interesting seeing everyone else's comments on the 30DS! It's also great motivation to keep on going. L1 D1 I found not too bad although my main struggle was with the cardio, but the day after I ached in places I wasn't expecting to! But I will push on as I can see…

Jogging on Wii Fit - how to log?
I use the Wii Fit and for example I have just done 20 mins jogging at the fastest pace I could manage and it was hard work (no, I am definitely not a runner!!). Wii Fit tells me I have covered 5,030m. How do I log this? If I use the "jog in place" it doesn't seem like enough calories but if I use the running/mph options…

Your Shape, Wii
Does anyone know how accurate the calories burnt are with this? I did 45 mins yesterday, yes it was hard going but I am very doubtful that I burnt off over 700 cals which is what it said?!
