Mothers...
I'm having a hard time with some body issue images of myself. I had stretch marks before getting pregnant with my son, and they became even more extreme when I was pregnant with him. The stretch marks do not bother me as much as this double hump, if you will, that protrudes out above my belly button, mid-torso. I can see…

It seems like when I get in these modes of depression, I tend to not care about anything and just want to eat or not eat anything at all. Long story short, I have been sick (sinus infections) off an on for a couple months…

Is it over?
I have been with my husband for 12 1/2 years now. We met when were in high school and married a few years ago. We now have a 19 month old. I don't feel like he loves me anymore or even cares about me. We have heated fights on regular basis and I don't want to fight in front of my son. Our fights revolve around the same…

Butternut squash recipes
What are some yummy butternut squash recipes? I made a chili with it last night that was pretty delicious, but have a lot of the squash left over. Note: I do not really like the taste of butternut squash, but buy it because my son does (yes he eats healthier than me lol). I think it is really sweet so I'd like a recipe…

Needing the extra motivation today...
I am currently a breastfeeding mother to my 4 month old son, and weigh close to what I came home from the hospital. Now, I am beginning to…

I'm scared to exercise
I worked out on Saturday, burning about 350 calories in an hour. I had consumed about half my calories for the day with a good mixture of proteins, carbs, and fats. About an hour after I had worked out, I thought I was going to pass out. I drank some orange juice thinking my sugar may be low after working out, and felt…

I've had some chicken legs I bought and put in the freezer... I was going to splurge and fry them when I bought them. I have made the better choice to try to fix them healthier... the only problem is I need some healthy recipes!
