Biggest Loser at work
Hello everyone! I signed up for a "Biggest Loser" competition at work. It's mostly for fun, but I still want to lose the most weight % (how they are measuring the winner). I definitely want to win, but I don't know what weight goal to set for myself. It will be over 13 weeks. I have lost over 20lbs already, at a goal of…

I feel so hungry!
My current calorie goal is 1500 calories. I have been on a slight plateau for about a month...then I lost a pound this week. I haven't been able to work out as much this week, and I have been trying to stay around my calorie goal, if not going over. I feel like I am starving! I have been eating my calories and it's been…

first NSV
Today while in Target after debating whether to look at clothes or not, I decided to. walking shoes?
After walking a little over 3 miles yesterday and wearing nasty blisters on the bottoms of my feet I am thinking I need a pair of walking shoes. Do walking shoes actually prevent this? How are they different than regular shoes? Any suggestions to what brand/ kind would be best?

March for Babies
I signed up to participate in the March for Babies today (6 mile walk). Although it is for a good cause, I have to admit, I did it more to make myself be active. Is this horrible of me? I also asked my husband to participate with me, which he agreed. So, in a way it's helping both of us be healthier.

Reward myself?
Hello everyone! I am currently trying to think of something to motivate me to continue losing weight. My thought is to find something that I really want to buy, but can't until I lose 10 more lbs. Nothing too expensive, but preferably something to continue my weight loss after the purchase. Some of my exercise likes:…

Losing the scale
Has anyone been successful in getting rid of their scale and still losing weight? It seems if I haven't lost weight when I think I should have, it sends me in a negative spiral, gaining lost weight back and sometimes more. With that being said, I'm thinking of getting rid of my scale and occasionally checking my weight.…
