I signed up to participate in the March for Babies today (6 mile walk). Although it is for a good cause, I have to admit, I did it more to make myself be active. Is this horrible of me? I also asked my husband to participate with me, which he agreed. So, in a way it's helping both of us be healthier.

That's not horrible of you ....

...unless you're marching ON the babies. Then that's bad!! Very bad!

I guess it's the idea of doing it for myself more than for the mothers and babies.

As the mom of a preemie, if you're raising money for the cause then it is a win-win situation. March of Dimes gets the money for research and you burn 100s of calories. I will be walking in the March for Babies next month for both reasons.
