sprained ankle
Unfortunately, playing beach volleyball with a bunch of my friends led to to roll my left ankle pretty badly. Seeing as I did this earlier in the year to my right ankle, it took a little bit of recovery. At the moment I cannot do many forms of cardio that I normally would do (run, bike, row). Are there any possible…

Heart Rate Monitors
Looking to invest into a heart rate monitor to get serious about my running. I'm just starting back up from an injury from soccer, and I wanted to start fresh with the gear. I remember reading a lot of posts about the Polar Wrist HRM, but I have also stepped across other things such as the Adidas micoach and the Nike…

How bad are bagels for you?
For breakfast, as a highschooler, I'm always in a rush, especially in the morning. I try my best to grab whatever food that I can get. And today i realized i was out of fruit and only had a fairly big sized bagel, like about 4 and a half inch sized. I usually carry a Nature valley granola bar for snacking in the mid…

Just a tad bit confused
So yesterday was New Years Eve and I unleashed on my cheat day like anyone else, but to my surprise, even after binging all last night and this morning with a massive breakfast, I lost weight? Granted it was a fifth of a pound but I still lost? Im surprised I didn't gain at least one. Anyone have any ideas?

Back and Posture
So I have really bad posture and I feel this is why my back hurts sometimes. Also what are some…

Fiber One and Nature Valley
These two granola bars have always been my favorite, especially the Oats & Honey Nature Valley and Fiber One Chocolate and Oats. However, I have mixed reviews for these granola bars. Are they good for you? And are they a good snack if i don't have the ability to eat other healthier foods

Need some suggestions
So it's crunch time this week (like every week) in school with many projects, tests, and homework, and i need to find time to exercise. Anyone have any good tips to workout while studying or doing work? I have an old stationary bike, but it is not ideal due to its odd composition so I can't really study while riding it,…

Wisdom teeth
So i just got mine out yesterday, lovely and i'm nervous for my diet. Yesterday I didn't eat anything except liquids like milkshakes, unhealthy ones because that was recommended, should I worry about even though it was under my calories, the unhealthy-ness?

Shock treatment?
So I've heard somewhere along the lines of that once one's body is accustomed to a smaller calorie goal, you can have a binge day once a week to sort of shock the brain into burning that many calories normally again. Is this true? Because I have grown to become accustomed to my calorie goal of 1550 a day when my BMR +…
