So over the past few months, i've made a goal of losing 20 pounds, and all was going well until recently i've hit a plateau, I'm 5'11 male and started at 176 looking to get to 155ish, and over the past month I've managed to come down to 169. My waist measurement has been the same the whole time. a 35". and the past two week i seemed to stop losing. I've been stuck at 169 and I just weighed myself in again, and I'm at 169.8. not so much upset about the gain, but I've been under my calorie deficit and i haven't seen progress for a while.
Any suggestions on what to do? like vary up cardio possibly?

when i have been stuck at the same weight.. i take a day and eat a ton of carbs and dont count any calories.. it seems to shock my system.. then the next day i go back to business as usual and find that i start dropping pounds again...0

I can't see your diary, so don't know if this applies, but... try eating as "clean" as possible (lots of fresh veggies & fruits, more raw/unsalted nuts, few processed foods, etc). It's helped me tremendously.0

That, and try meeting your calorie goal. If you're not eating enough, your body is going to think you're starving and hold on to everything it gets. Don't be scared to hit your MFP calorie count! It's made so that if you hit the count, you'll still lose weight. If you go over and when you "starve" yourself, that's when you run into problems.0
