how to measure calories burned
what do you recommend to use to determine how many calories i burn during exercise? i've heard about a heart rate monitor, but is there a specific kind? one better than another? a different tool altogether?

if i eat something at say, 3am on saturday morning, do i post it to saturday's diary, or to friday's, since i haven't gone to sleep yet (wow, i just confused myself. lol)?

why does mfp announce when we've finished our food diaries and are under our calorie goals like it's a *good* accomplishment, yet at the bottom of the diary it tells us we're eating too few calories and that it's hindering our nutrition/weight loss?
