Add steps as activity?
Hi! I just starting using my Jawbone yesterday - I have my MFP activity level set to Sedentary - do I log my jawbone steps on MFP or not? Thanks! Also, I do not have them synced together - as I'm not sure how or if I want to.

Jawbone Tracker
Hi, I've recently returned to MFP after over a year. I had a baby 6 weeks ago and it's time to start losing the weight I've put on. I set my settings to sedentary because I work a desk job and haven't gotten into a routine yet - though I intend to work out 5-6 days a week. I also just started using the jawbone wrist…

Rhomboid Injury
I’m currently recovering from a muscle strain/tear (rhomboid) it is a small muscle that connects to the spine and the edge of the shoulder blade… My physician said that when the initial pain went away I could do gentle stretching; in 2 to 3 weeks I should be able to resume normal workouts. Today is the first day since…

No More TDEE posts
This is my last post about this for awhile, I’ve been blowing up the boards & posting about this all week. I finally think I have figured it out – or at least what I think will work for me, and what I’m going to try. I believe whole heartedly in the idea behind eating enough as to not slow down your metabolism “aka…

Still not getting it????
With so much information out there about figuring your calories I thought I had it figured out BUT..... I just used a different method and it gives me an even higher TDEE - - - I consider myself pretty dern smart, I don't know why I am having such a hard time with this. I just want to set my goal at a number - that lets me…

Don't Shoot! (TDEE question)
I know this topic is posted about daily but I still need a little clarification. After reading all the info I have about TDEE, BMR, metabolism, macros, etc… I’ve reset my calorie intake to 20% of my TDEE (figure w/my exercise) 1640 So, since that number takes my activity level into account – I do not need to worry about…

Do I need a change?
Again, I’m just curious as to everyone’s opinion. There is so much information out there regarding how many calories you should eat and how you should figure that in the first place. When I first began this 20 lbs heavier – the weight was much easier to lose, now that I have changed my eating habits and am more active it’s…

SCOOBY?
I was just curious with all the talk of BMR, TDEE, and the various calorie calculators - - - so I decided to use the Scooby workshop, the number it's giving me seems so high - but I guess it would considering what I've been eating. Anyone care to share their experience or plan?

SW 160 GW 130
I’d like to think I have a pretty good grasp on what I need to do to meet my goals, but I am really curious what other people that are of similar build/weight/ and have similar goals are doing. I’m 33 I started at 178 lbs I am currently 159 The first 20 lbs were not that hard - but since then I'm struggling, I know I could…

HITT
Just wondering if anyone else does HITT training & how you record it on mfp. I’ve just started - - - and noticed it didn’t come up in the search. A friend suggested I create it – but I have no idea what I might have burned, I didn’t wear a monitor or anything. Thanks for any ideas.

Eating every 2 hours
Is anyone else eating every 2 to 3 hours? I have always found that I begin to lose weight when I eat more often – but every 2 hours is a real challenge for me. I’m just curious as to everyone’s experience/opinion.

New Scale/ 10lb gain.
I thought I just needed to change the battery in my scale, but no luck. So I pulled out another one that I’ve had awhile but barely used…. It apparently hates me - - - it weighed me at nearly 10lbs more than I was at my last weigh in. ( A little over a week ago) I haven’t checked it’s accuracy - but I’m more concerned with…

My response to 1200 calorie diets & "starvation mode"
***** I'M POSTING AS A TOPIC - ONLY BECAUSE IT COMES UP A LOT & I HAVE A LONG RESPONSE EACH TIME**** Okay, Here we go. I feel like I need a disclaimer to say I’m not an expert…..I can only tell you my personal experience and what has worked for me. I’ve been doing this for a long time so I’ve read a lot of stuff and talked…
