NSV - I ran a half marathon
Despite losing one of my energy gel packs after less than 2 miles, having to stop to cross the road and going the wrong way following a guy who was running through Queen's Park but not competing (WTF!) I finished the Loughborough Half Marathon in just over 2 hours and 6 minutes including an awesome sprint finish.

NSV - My mum has joined the gym!
Got a text from my mum today saying she's joined the gym! I know she and my dad went for a 10 mile bike ride on Bank Holiday Monday as well. I've not suggested anything to her but it's nice when the people you love take care of themselves.

Non alcoholic pub drinks
I gave up beer/lager which has helped me lose weight but I replaced it with vodka and diet coke. Looking for something non alcoholic so I can still go out that's not too expensive and will last a while.

I weighed myself yesterday...
I weighed myself yesterday, not really expecting to lighter - 15 st 0 lbs! (210 lbs) can't remember being this light as an adult, feeling so happy right now.

Layer of fat on stomach and thighs

Hit a new low this week...
Same weight as last week but body fat is 22.8%, I know scales aren't that accurate but I when I first used these scales on 29th Feb 2012 the figure was 32.6%! Going to get some callipers and test that way.

Went for a run and got a bit carried away

Still look thinner in my head than in photos
Not sure if anyone else gets this, when I look in the mirror I think I look good, although I did when I was big, but when I take a photo it never looks as good as the picture in my head. :grumble:

2013 km (1258 miles) in 2013
I managed to do 115 miles in November and 106 in December. A friend suggested trying to reach 2013 miles in 2013, it's only an average of 5.5 a day but not sure if I can fit it in so going to aim to do it in km.
