How often do you....
How often do you update your Diet/Fitness settings? I update mine about once a week so that I dont lose too many calories from my goal all at once. I started with a calorie goal of 2010 per day and now it is at 1940 per day.

How many calories do you not mind leaving on your day?
I know that MFP has a built in deficit everyday and I know that it adds the calories you burn. With that said I sometimes have close to 1000 calories left after I eat my daily meals and snacks (except for my PM snack).
