Do you take a daily Vitamin?

I take the Equate womans health Weight control. I have been taking it for a few months now and I am not sure it really does anything??

If you do take one what kind? Also, what difference do you feel when you take it?

I just take a general multivitamin. I don't feel any difference or notice any difference. I'm just playing it safe as I know I don't eat healthily enough yet.

Yes, I take the gummy vitamins...Please don't laugh haha. I have PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and migraines. With just those two issues I take quite a bit of meds, well to me, so I choose to do the gummy vitamins because it doesn't upset my stomach plus I remember to take them and want to because they are so good.

    yup!!
i take GNC's prenatal multivitamin as well as an additional vit D and calcium.
    feel great on them! :)
  • I have been taking a multivitamin until this week. I showed my diary for the last month to my doctor and he told me it was no longer necessary but not harmful either. He said I was eating all the right foods so I could quit the MV. I still take a Vitamin D once a month during fall/winter, I get plenty of Vitamin D during the summer being outside.

I take Women's One A Day although I'll admit I don't take it every day. I have anemia (low iron) so if I take it regularly I notice I don't bruise as easily. I don't really notice any difference other than that though.

I usually take a multivitamin as well as extra potassium, but I get sick of swallowing pills.. so I changed off and right now I'm taking a prenatal gummi vitamin without extra iron added. I heard prenatals are really good for your hair and nails so we'll see. I just wanted to take gummi vitamins.. lol
  • I take a daily multivitamin (chewable), 1200 mg of calcium citrate daily, a vitamin B complex, folic acid, and Vitamin B12 sublingual.

My vitamin regiment is set up to cure any deficiencies caused by my lap-band, and to support healthy brain function, as I have a history of depression.

Calcium/Vitamin D--I don't "feel" any difference, but I know I don't get enough in my diet, and my bones need it!

Fish Oil--My hair and nails are stronger

Iron--Again, I don't get enough in my diet, but it takes a lot more for me to bruise now!

I take a One-a-Day womens multi, 2 fish oil supplements, and greens superfood supplement powder mixed with water. If it doesn't physically make a real difference, then it does mentally at least. I always feel like I'm starting the day out right.

Despite the lack of hard science proving the benefits of many supplements I take a multivitamin, vitamins D & E, pomegranate extract, blueberry (along with eating whole blueberries almost daily), Q-10, omega 3-6 and a Glucosamine/Chondroitin pretty much daily. Who knows, I may be simply producing very expensive urine but........

I didn't think it made and difference but started taking iron supplements, and multi-vitamins.

Obviously the lack of anemia (docs put me on the iron supplements) makes me feel better but more than that in the last 2 years I've only had 1 cold *touches wood*! That's worth it in itself! I used to get 2-5 every winter before vitamins.

I take the Equate Woman's One-a-day vitamin too. I also take a fish oil pill as well. My husband was prescribed them OTC by the doc for his cholesterol so I figured I would take them too since we now have them in the house.

I take a multi, Centrum Forte or something similar. I don't notice any difference, I just know my diet is lacking, so it's an insurance policy. I also take Omega 3 and probiotics, though I often run out and don't get them again for a while. I'm thinking about adding calcium/magnesium/D.

I def do, but I went to my Dr. and had labs ran to make sure I wasn't just paying for really expensive pee...LOL...I did add Co-Q 10 and fish oil to the mix since I have a family history of heart disease. BTW prenatal vitamins are the only vitamin regulated by the FDA to contain what they actually advertise (courtesy of March of Dimes-Thank you) and the others can just be sugar pills if they want.

Ha! I don't take a regular multivitamin, but I take a fruit flavored gummy calcium supplement. I remember to take it everyday that way!

I can't have dairy, and while I know I CAN hit my calcium through other foods, I figure better safe than sorry.

    Kirkland's Multi-Vitamin
    Kirkland's Fish Oil
    Vitamin B Supplement
    Vitamin D 2000mg supplement
    Chia seeds 1 Tbsp.

I don't know whether it's the vitamins or the exercise (probably a combination) but I sleep better, I don't snore as much (or as loud according to my wife), I used to fall asleep at work sitting at my desk. I think it's just the lost weight, better general health factor, but I don't know how many people get the full assortment of necessary vitamins from their diet.
