The Will Power Muscle

I have heard that Will power is like any other muscle, it requires regular exercise and strength training. I have been over weight all of my life and I have given up on or given into the temptations of junk food and just plain no exercise of any kind.

I guess my questions for your will power muscle are do you..

1. Just leave anything that could be a temptation (either food or actions) as far from your being and thought as possible?

2. You temp yourself with something small once in a while to test and grow your will power muscle?
