my love handles are shrinking :-) I have not lost any weight but I am obviously gaining muscle and losing fat because the love handles are definitely smaller

on my own tonight for supper so here is what I am having :-)
Warm glucomannan chocolte pudding (almond milk, glucomannan, truvia, cocoa) topped with fat free greek yogurt ... feels decadent :-)

xylitol and stevia
I have a couple of green drink powders I like to supplement with. One is unsweetened (yuck :-)) The other is sweetened with stevia and xylitol. The second one seems more satisfying which makes me wonder if my brain sees the sweeteners as carbs? What is your experience with stevia, xylitol and ketosis?

post 40 strength training
So, I am 47 (soon 48) and started doing a personal training program after work twice a week. I am not doing heavy lifting but am aiming for general toning and strength. ketosis but no weight loss
I have been in ketosis for 3 weeks and walking 30-50 min most days. I have not lost a thing. Granted, I only have about 15-20 to lose. My hubby who has about double that to lose has lost 5 lbs. I am thinking about adding in some weight lifting but starting off easy. Any advice?

what is going on with mfp carbs?
I had half a cup of saurkraut on my salad for lunch and when I went to track it differnet choices ranged from 0 - 9 g carbs? will either xylitol or stevia impact my ketosis? I know each are supposed to be carb free but when I have my green drink that is sweetened with these instead of my unsweetened green drink, I feel like I have had carbs. Is it all in my head?
