Weight watchers points system and starvation mode
I just recently joined weightwatchers and have had my points set at 18, now looking at the food im eating and putting it into mfp for 18 points im only getting around 1000cals has anyone else found that weigh watchers sets them at low calorie eqivalents? i have to admit this is putting me off carrying on the plan…

BMR vs HRM
my BMR according to MFP is 1,408 my BMR plus lifestyle is 1733 ive worn my HRM all day do see my calorie burn (today has been my average day) and so far ive burned 2213 and its only 6.30pm so im kind of confused surly my HRM no. should be around 1700?? (i have the polar F6 (if it makes any difference))

dead feet on elliptical?

resistance training without the gym?
ok, so i do have a gym membership but i HATE using the weights and the resistance machines - i either have blokes laughing at me or old men perving. so can anyone suggest any resistance work i can do outside the gym?

how much do you burn?

eating low carbs?

crosstrainer vs elliptical
is there much difference between calories burned on the crosstrainer and the elliptical? the only difference i noticed between the two is that the crosstrainer uses your arms too, if there is differences - which is the best to use? Katie x
