chocolate milk: powdered or made up?

So i've heard many times now that chocolate milk is good for after a workout, but does it have to be already made up chocolate milk, or can you get the chocolate powder and mix it with skimmed or semi skimmed milk?

IMO, If you take a wee bit of sugar, cocoa and milk- voila. Super Recovery Shake. I don't like buying the premade (unless in a pinch) because they don't use sugar- they use corn syrup. :flowerforyou:0

has anyone tried with soymilk? I've recently switched since light soymilk is 50 cal a cup. Not as good as the real thing though.0

What is the reasoning why choclate milk is good after a workout. I love skim milk with the powder and was just wondering what the benefits are0
