Insanity Results with pics
Finished my Insanity today. It was quite a challenge for me and great kick to my journey back to my old Navy fitness level. What a great feeling of accomplishment! Lost 20.2 pounds and 13.75 inches total. Inches were combined from 1.25 off the neck, 5 off the waist, 2 off the hips, 3.5 off the chest, and 2 off the thighs.…

Shoes for Insanity
Anybody have any suggestions? I am wearing some Nike running shoes that work ok... until any lateral movement and then I feel like there is ZERO support. Any suggestions on what works for you... mainly in aggressive lateral movements?

Recovery Week.
I don't know if this is crazy... but the first month was tough. I didn't get that sore though. I busted my butt and sweat more than I ever had... maybe even more than my HS wrestling days. Now I am halfway through with recovery week and I am sore. Kinda odd, I thought. :D

Really prep yourself for month 2. Had the first day today after recovery week. It was pretty tough. An hour and twenty five minutes. Be ready. :)

Shirataki Noodles/ Pasta Lovers
Earlier I saw a post somebody made about them and decided to find out more. Actually found them at the grocery store. They had the tofu mix version which is still only 40 calories per bag. I am so glad I saw that post! They are amazing! Anybody looking for a pasta substitute... this is the way to go!
