Decided to join WW
I decided to join WW because just counting calories in and out wasn't doing it. I know I was going over in calories some days but I was just darn hungry. Will power just doesn't work for me. If I think about it, hunger is supposed to be very uncomfortable and we are hard wired to correct that sensation. If that weren't so,…

MFP not communicating with Garmin CONNECT
Ever since yesterday afternoon, MFP is not syncing with Garmin. I have tried shutting down and restarting, disconnecting and reconnecting and a myriad of other little things. Any ideas? This is really annoying!

Comments about what I eat
I absolutely HATE it when someone, especially my husband, comments on what I am eating. I know I am super sensitive because, when I was a child, weight was an issue and kids are super mean. When I would eat lunch, they'd say things like "no wonder you are so fat". I was eating a sandwich. Kids can be terrible. Still, I…

It is NOT as simple as Calories In Calories Out (CICO)
In my experience, weight loss trends or "fads" that come and go don't work because they aren't sustainable. Why do these fads keep coming and going? I believe it is because weight loss is not as simple as CICO. People know it and some look to make a buck selling a new approach that may appear somehow easier at first blush.…

It might be a small win but it IS a win!
I went to the bakery to pick up a cake I ordered for a celebration tomorrow. I resisted to the temptation to get myself a sweet treat while I was there. I am so proud of myself!

Hydration!
Well, I am coming along. I fell off over the weekend but got right back on board on Monday. Today is Wednesday and I am feeling great!
