I was just wondering what the motivations people have for fitness. It seems like most are solely motivated by the number on the scale, but I feel at this point in my life that it is based on how I look and feel. What are your motivations and reasons for the way you focus on your weight loss and goals.

Exercise with a sprained ankle?
I sprained my ankle almost three months ago (2 torn ligaments) and it still hasn't fully healed. I've gained weight and become sedentary when I'm not at work. Any suggestions for exercise on a sensitive foot that are still effective?

Has anyone ever done a Chalean Extreme and Insanity hybrid? Any suggestions for a schedule? Or, do you think that much cardio & strength training mixed may not work well together?

Exhausted/No Energy.
I seem to only have energy for the first five or six hours I'm awake and moving around each day. I work mornings (for example, this week I'm working 4:30AM until sometime mid-day each day) and am fine as soon as I wake up. HRM Question
I have a Polar HRM and I was wondering if the calories burned include my BMR. Do I need to subtract those calories to see an accurate burn, or does my HRM have that covered? I could not find a topic on this, but I remember reading about it a while back. Any help would be great!

Serious Question Concerning Monkey Bars.
Today, I was at an exercise park and went on the monkey bars twice. I slipped and my skin actually tore on my palm. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there something that, somehow, I'm missing about how to climb on monkey bars?
