How would you categorize Insanity under the exercise section?

  • I use a heart rate monitor and then go the the "create exercise" part so I can manually add the calories.
Otherwise you could do "circuit training" but I highly suggest getting a heart rate monitor.
    And enjoy!
I'm on week two and loving it :)

yea... I don't know what it is either. But it sounds intriguing!
  • I've already used Insanity in the past, but I became lazy this summer (it was 100 degrees EVERY day) and just quit after having quite a bit of progress. I'm ready to stick with it and get into shape this time, though.

It's an intense work out, but I always feel amazing afterward.

It's technically called Beach Body Insanity. You should Google it and find out more.

You can use circuit training. Also, get an inexpensive heart rate monitor.
  • How much do heart rate monitors set you back, generally? I'm unemployed.

I bought a Sportline hrm at Wal-mart for under $30. It tracks calories burned and doesn't require a chest strap. There are some that have chest straps. Other people like the $200 hrm that measures fat burned and the position of the sun, but I don't need that.
