Advide for healthy clean snacks for trip
I am chaperoning a 3 day field trip to NYC in a few days. Very exciting, but the trip has been designed for a bunch of teenagers--stops at pizzerias, diners, etc. We will also be on the go for 14 hours a day. The last part is good for an effort in healthy living. So, as I'm packing, I'm thinking of healthy, nutritious…

Any pumpers out there?
Hi I'm a first time Mom. My 3 month old never latched so he only takes my pumped milk in a bottle and we supplement with formula. I feel like my supply has dwindled since I returned to work. I really want to make it to 6 months, but I also feel ready to give up at times. Is anyone experiencing the same thing?

Delicious lunch: 3 g. of fat and >300 calories!
For lunch I had: A toasted tuna sandwich with white bread. In the tuna, I put a large spoonful of fat free Greek-style yogurt with jalapeno peppers and cilantro paste. I topped with lettuce and tomato. On the side, I had a dill spear and 8 pickled beets! YUM

Diet and Exercise
Who would've thought? Move more, eat less Will change the way You fit in the dress! Sorry, I work with kids so everything I say comes out in a rhyme :-P \ In December, my husband and I decided we were not happy with ourselves. I had gained 15 pounds from quitting smoking and the holidays. He was inactive because of the…

Question for the ladies
Do you get crazy cravings around your period? In the beginning--even right before it starts, I crave sweets and give in easier than when I'm not on the cycle--toward the middle and end, I crave greasy, fried food! Does anyone go through with this and how do you deal? For some reason I am weaker around my period and cave so…

sodium?
I have been looking at this weeks reports and notice that my sodium intake is pretty high, I think. Does anybody know the general amount of sodium someone is supposed to eat daily?

stupid choices
Though I stayed within my caloric range, I went way over on carbs, just over fat, and was extremely protein deficient today...It's tough getting back into the swing of things! Oh well, I guess tomorrow's another day...

yoga on dvd?
During the summer, there was free yoga in a park near my house, and I went once or twice a week. Now that summer is over, I dearly miss it! I can't afford classes, and the few yoga tapes I've seen, I didn't like--it was either too cheesy (a guy on a mountain top) or too quick or slow paced. Does anyone do yoga at home? If…

back again
I'm not a new member...I was a die hard MFP user over the summer, lost weight, quit smoking, school started back...the end result was me gaining over twice the amount of weight I had lost! So I am glad to be back--and for the new people, don't quit using MFP, it works until you quit! :-) Good luck everyone.

Back from relapse
Hi! I was doing awesome this summer and even felt comfortable in a bikini then I quit smoking, went on vacation and that all went out the window. Now I'm almost 2 months smoke free and I weigh a few pounds more than I did when I started MFP-But I feel okay about it and I'm back!

plateau blues
My first week on MFP I dropped 5 lbs quickly and for the past two weeks. I haven't gained--I haven't done must differently...why can't I lose more weight? I've heard of a plateau, but how long is it supposed to last?

Yay for yoga and yogurt
I fell in love with yoga today! I've been mainly walking up until now because it's really the only exercise I can stand...but today I did yoga in a local park...there is a free class Monday afternoon and Saturday morning and it was awesome! Afterward, I walked a half an hour to this place that specializes in tart frozen…

Getting somewhere!
I joined MFP roughly two weeks ago and I lost 5lbs! I honestly don't think I could have done that...this site is such a great motivator! As I am organizing my apartment, I found a pile of "skinny" clothes that I love and didn't want to give up...I tried them on for fun and I was able to stuff myself in them, which means I…

Hello!
Hi everyone! I just started a new myfitnesspal account today! I had one before, but I lost motivation. Yesterday, I was wearing a skirt that I had bought not too long ago, sat, and it ripped! I decided it was time to rejoin! I wish you all the best of luck! The Knotty Librarian
