So I was devout. Lost a ton of weight. Quit. Gained it back + some. They I decided to lose more slowly and more realistically for myself. I lost 40lbs on my own and another 12.5 this past month by food tracking. Just looking for encouraging friends! Definitely makes it more fun.

Something about my vanilla chai latte is like a mental sigh of relief. I take a sip and my brain turns off... Can't beat 15 calories! Do you have any foods/drinks that are a special, yet healthy, treat?

Personal and Family Success!
Yesterday marked 4 months since I decided to lose weight and I am officially down 45 lbs! What's even more exciting is that as a family (my husband, his parents and I) have lost 143lbs total! I'm so totally blessed by them every single day!

Harder or longer?
You like that title, eh? ;) I've noticed my calorie burn decreasing with each workout recently! I go 3 miles on the elliptical at resistance intervals of 5 then 8. I I'm generally in the gym around an hour. Should I bump the resistance higher or go for more miles?

Family victory!!!

Heart rate monitor?
I want to purchase a heart rate monitor that you wear around your chest. I've heard that they are the most accurate. One that measures distance might be nice as well. I'm a big girl, so I would need it to be able to fit me as well as be incredibly accurate. Does anyone have one that they love?

Ridiculous logging
Do you log anything other than exercise? I understand if you go for a walk, gym, mow the lawn... But if you grocery shop do you log the walking? Do you log cleaning your house or cooking dinner? What acceptable to log and when does it get ridiculous?

I've read there's a heart rates for each individual the burns the maximum amount of calories during a workout... How do I figure out what mine is? TIA!

MFP not recording weight loss :(
I lost some weight last year. When I gained it back MFP set my weight lost back to zero (which I wad hoping it would do).... Now I've lost 8 lbs and it still says 0 lost and it's been set for a week.... Why is it doing that? The number encourages me :(

I know that your sugar intake is very important, but is it bad if you go over on your sugars if 90% of your intake is from fruit? My husband and I love bean soups... blackeyed peas, limas, 15 bean soup... but I've always made them with tons of sodium in them. Does anyone have a recipe for beans that come from dried beans that's delicious? it doesn't have to be low in sodium, but anything better would help. Thanks!

Calorie Goals!
How do you get in enough calories a day without filling your body full of crap? I eat 5-6 times a day, but I rarely come close to my goal! This is also after I manually lowered my calorie goal because it was set crazy high!

Big girls!!
Serious, yet sort of embarassing, question... I work out every day and I work out hard. I can deal with the muscle soreness, but not with the soreness from chafing. Any suggestions on how to lessen this? It's stalling me!
