Sodium nightmare
But contrary to what the topic says, I'm trying not to stress over it... I love salty food! I am going way way way over my sodium intake on a daily basis, because instead of sweets, I crave savory stuff. However, on the flip side, I drink tons of water so I'm hoping that helps to counteract it. How much does everyone…

Fitbit and BMR/TDEE
Hello folks, Another question while I work on my goals... I have a Fitbit, and use it every day. I am figuring that I need to start eating approximately 1700 calories/day based on my calculations. Should I stick to that number religiously, or go more by my Fitbit adjustments after exercise and activity? Thank you! Anita

Scared to go out of the box!
Hello out there... This weight loss is slow and frustrating. I am going to the gym five days a week, which is a huge change for me. I am so confused as to whether I should up my calories to follow the "eat more to weigh less" approach, or stick with the traditional 1200 calories a day. I'm scared to death to mess up the…

Re-committed and ready!
Hey everyone! I have been on this site for quite a while. However, in the last two months I have been totally dedicated. I am up at 4 am to head to the gym before work, and trying to watch what I eat (although I have tons of room to grow in this area!). I am looking for friends on the site, because accountability is…

New with question
Okay, I'm new to the site (fairly) and brand-new to this group! Have done a lot of research, and think a reset is in order. Figured out that I should be eating 1767 calories per day, and figured out too how to change my goal settings here. But my next question is this...how do I know how much protein, fat, etc I should be…

Calories per day question
Hello everyone, my first post here! So if this is somewhere else and I missed it, I apologize! Reading an awesome weight-loss book by Bob Harper, but he recommends at least 1500 calories per day on his program, and lots more protein than the guidelines here on the food tracker. What thoughts/experience does everyone have…
